Election Rules

The size of the association’s board of executives should not be less than 21 and not more than 29. The association’s board is to be set as follows:
The board should consist of one president, one secretary general, one treasurer, two vice presidents and fourteen members of the executive committee. The committee should be set up for not less or not more than twenty-four members
A three-year executive committee must choose a method for conducting the elections.
The election board shall appoint a returning officer and two assistant election officers.
Election officials need to conduct the elections according to the rules of the Association
21 days prior to the election of the Secretary General of the Association, members must be informed in writing.
Each of the candidates must pay an application fee of Rs 100 in order to contest for the committee election. Candidates can pay by credit card as well. In either case, receipt must be obtained.
Every candidate must and should fill out the application form to contest for the committee election.
Candidates who wish to compete for more than one position need to file the nomination papers for each post separately.
In the above case, candidates should make the payment separately for each post’s nomination and collect the receipt for the same.
The application fees for the candidates are as follows:
President Rs. 5000 / –
General Secretary – Rs. 2500 /
Treasurer – Rs. 2500 / –
Vice Presidents each – Rs 1500 / –
